Chris Clark

I understand what your saying. I could buy it if it was a one time thing. This is his third transfer. Not being comfortable has nothing to do with being soft and not wanting to work for things. in addition after UCLA he was back to the same pattern of commit and then decommits. I just don't see having any confidence this will be different then the other three times.

Schools take reaches all the time. I just can't see how anyone can be confident in this kids with his past.
Scouts would have seen 'soft' in HS. I think the soft part of it was due to lack of motivation or lack of feeling good about what you're doing. If he is soft, he won't play, so what is there to lose? On the other hand, if he becomes motivated, with his talent, he could become a player. We shall see. Btw, I think this was his second school, UCLA and Pitt. The soft verbal to Syracuse was temporary, and wasn't a transfer.

Define "reach"...there was nobody, and I mean nobody, that didn't want this kid.

I think Clark represents a key part of HCPN future plans. From reading all of the posts, his history does raise some questions, but I think he could be a major asset to this team in the next few years. I think for now we may have to give this guy a pass. We have no idea what type of offensive the new OC will install or how much it will rely on the tight end position.

I was referring to the 3 high school in three years. The kid kept transferring prep schools.

I'm not sure I follow the three transfers that you mention. He enrolled at UCLA, then decided to transfer. Are there others that I'm forgetting?
I am referring to in high school. He attended three different prep schools and it wasn't because the family moved. He was always unhappy with the coaching staffs or the school.

You're right. Didn't know you were referring to HS. But, as I said, he admitted to being immature, so I imagine he was also 'spoiled' in HS. However, there is no indication that I've heard that he was a 'bad apple'. Again, from his recent interviews, he seems to have his head together now and wants to work hard and do well. His future holds the answers, but his talent and potential is there and is worth Pitt taking the chance.

I hope your right the kid has switched schools more times in 2 years than I've change oil in my car and I drive 40k per year.

Having said that he looks like a stud!!!
I don't think you being lazy has anything to do with this kid. There isn't a pitt fan out there that doesn't want a 5 star recruit, so just go back to your board please

How can anyone say that this kid is lazy? Have any of you ever moved? It sucks....all this moving around for Clark? That takes motivation....
