Pitt just hung 45 on a VT team with a decent D. That is the most points against them to date this season. We had an advantage in time of posession. But I read that Cignetti is awful.
I read "You can't count on Izzy doing that every week", well no kidding. When hired, one of the things I, along with many other fans was excited about was that Coach Cig took what the opposition was giving him. Obviously (330 rush yards and 6 rush TDs) VT was susceptible to Izzy. So, he took it.
Do I believe Cig has been mistake free this year, or even this game? Hell no. But get off his back when the offense does what it is supposed to, put points on the board and control the clock.
