Anyone else going to this game? I've never been to Death Valley and I can't wait.

I just received my tickets today that I purchased on the secondary market and I noticed that the game is both of the Hall of Fame and Senior Day variety. Add in the fact that I'd expect it to be a night game because that weeks overall slate is relatively weak (only Michigan/Iowa is currently slated for 7PM on an ABC Network); in the ACC, FSU plays on Friday night and UNC plays on the Thursday night prior, so we'll definitely be the premier ACC Saturday matchup - this is setting up to be a monumental David v. Goliath contest in an electric stadium.

Anyways, I'm trying to figure out which area to get a parking pass for and I've heard to try for a pavement lot because the grass areas can get messy. Has anybody been or is anybody going that has any advice? Thanks.

happened to stumble upon your board today, and as a Clemson fan, we are excited to have yall!
The following link is the most up to date parking map. Let me know your budget, and I can help point you in the right direction.

Appreciate it! I'm not too concerned with cost. There are passes available on Stubhub and we'll have 6 people, so splitting it won't be bad. Where would you recommend when it comes to getting the best tailgate experience? I presume around the stadium...

I am just glad Pitt is playing them in 2016. When Pitt played FSU a few years ago, it showed how far Pit had to go to compete with a #1 Team.

Now the same will happen again to see how this Pitt 2016 team can compete with a Top #5 team again!

Up to Pitt to rebuild Pitt and Pitt will do it!

Lot 5 is reserved parking that is paved. $$$$ donors park here, so might be more tame than you are looking for. Lot 2 is a reserved grass parking area, closer to more of the action. Lot 10 is a good college tailgate lot, paved and cheaper than the others previously mentioned. Lot 1 is an area grass lot and is some of the heaviest tailgating - the area lots are first come first served.

This is a link to a non rivals site, but it should show you pitt specific parking being offered.

forgot to mention, plan to tailgate after the game or leave the game earlier if you dont want to sit in gameday traffic after the game.

Thanks, buddy. Do you happen to know how early the lots open prior to the game or is that contingent on the start time? Do you expect that game to be at night based on your scheduling history?

Im heading to the game as well with my kids. Is the atmosphere in the stands pretty reasonable? I imagine we are hardly a rival yet... and may never be, so I assumed even though your stadium is known as one of the best in the land for screaming fans that it would be rather civil right?

game times are a crap shoot. The lots open up at the crack of dawn. Night games people will be there at 7 am.

I mean it will be very loud but should be friendly. You will still most likely hear the occasional cursing just like anywhere else. But even though I know most fans are courteous, every fan base has those select few who make games less fun for those around them.

Dont be too boisterous if yall do well and im sure there will not be any issues.

If y'all win, you would have every right to try. But now you gave me a reason to come back and talk snack, and that really isn't my style.

My post was in response to your demand to cheer in a certain manner. I have no doubt as to the outcome unless DeShawn gets hurt, but anything is possible my friend

Yeah... we will behave for sure. I figure so... but trust me if we are even in that game I will be super happy.

Always wanted to see a game at your place.... looks downright badass on tv.

If you don't have fun then something is wrong with you haha. The atmosphere is intoxicating no matter the opponent (unless it's a blowout of course). Lville fans were hospitable to us last year, and I hope we continue the hospitality for the opponents we don't historically play often.

How much did you pay for tickets if you don't mind me asking?

I plan on going and am meeting a college classmate that now lives in Orlando there for the game. I get my tickets through Pitt, so I imagine the visitors do not receive great seats. Really looking forward to adding another stadium to my list. Not a lot of hotel options, but I snagged a room at the Holiday Inn Express on Tiger Boulevard around the campus. Could be a huge ACC game if the Panthers start the season strong. Hail to Pitt!

Any clue when the tickets will go on sale through Pitt?

I got a pretty good deal on vivid seats. Front row in the endzone opposite "The Hill" for $215 all-in. It appears the entire stadium is bleacher seats. The cheapest seats are about $80-$90 via third parties in the Top Deck. I'll be curious to see what they cost through Pitt.

If anyone else is trying to figure out hotels, Greenville, SC is wher you want to stay to avoid crazy Clemson prices. Greenville is about 30 to 45 minutes away on non-gameday a and will be a great spot to visit for everyone on Friday night

I have not booked a hotel yet. Need to see gametime. Probably stay about an hour away

@ratking17 I would book the Hilton on heywood rd in Greenville. Lots of out of town people have booked there and like it. Not downtown, so cheaper, than a lot of other places but still a great location.

We have a crew of about 15 of us headed down! Very excited

Hey Jokes. Can you recommend that one "must go" food place at Clemson? Every college town has one. Looking forward to the game.
