Of course. But not like they have since Meyer. Meyer plus the CFP format has boosted OSU's recruitng to the highest level.

My point is the players aren't coming to OSU because of who the coach is. They're coming to OSU because it's a top 3 program and along with Bama one of the two the biggest brand names in college football.

Basketball programs that recruit themselves:

• Duke
• UNC
• Kentucky
• Kansas

Football programs that recruit themselves:

• Alabama
• OSU
• Clemson (but only since Dabo)
