They are compensated. They are not given a grant to just go to class. They are required to play a sport.

Just because they aren't employees doesn't mean they aren't compensated. Contractors are paid and are not paid employees.

The fact that there is a movement to actually pay these athletes outright is all that needs to be said. The facade is being removed.

It's about time these million dollar coaches are called to task for loose speech and brazen politics that fly in the face of the beliefs of their African-American players who are in the majority on most major college rosters.

Trump is a racist? And Biden isn't? Remember what Biden said, (if you have to think about voting for him or trump you ain't black) and you think that's not a racist remark. The whole black community was outraged over that, and rightfully so. Biden makes a lot of racial slurs, not to mention Biden giving the eulogy for senator Robert Byrd, he said what a great guy he was. And Biden knew Byrd was a higher up big shot in the KKK. Contractors are not employees. And quit moving the goalposts. I only said athletes were compensated for their playing. I never claimed they were taxed or that they are employees. Wages are not the only form of compensation. Neither is taxable compensation the only form of compensation.

They don't do two-a-days simply for the fun of it. They receive a benefit.

we can also acknowledge that if these same African athletes really want to make a difference and support truly progressive schools versus schools rooted in systemic and institutional racism is to vote oh yeah you say everyone says to "vote" but these athletes have another way to vote they decide where they want to go to school. no one put a gun to chubba hubbards head to go to okie state a state school in a state that voted over 65% trump in 2016

where trump has his Tulsa rally schools like Oklahoma and Oklahoma state, texas, Alabama, florida, Clemson, Georgia, etc....but these young black men will continue to matriculate to these historically racist colleges in the pursuit of glory and dollar so they need to back off the social justice train if they continue to serve their masters at these schools. they have a choice

Besides the intentionally terrible choice of words and the cowardly use of another fake handle, the best way to tear down racism is to confront it. Like sitting where you're not supposed to on a bus, for instance. Drawing attention to racists is the thing they hate the most.
