There are some people that post on this board that say that the recruiting is mostly what matters in college football. Obviously, the quality of players makes a big difference, but Coach Narduzzi is showing that coaching can make a huge...enourmous difference. It has always been that way and always will be. Pitt has a whole new attitude thanks to our great coach. Things will only get better in the coming years!

Totally agree. Recruiting does matter, but you can't just blindly take all the highly ranked recruits and win every single year. There will be some busts along the way. When it comes to recruiting, I think the scouting aspect of that is what's really important. Do your homework, find out what kids can play and play in your system, and that is the key to sustaining success!

There are only 60 to 80 Plays in most CFB games, out of that there are usually 5 to 6 Plays made just by 2 to 3 Players that can win Close Football Games?

It all starts with the Chancellor Visions to find the right people that will initiate and execute his vision in the Athletic Department from the Athletic Director to Coaches To Student Athletes!

A Good coach can win 7 to 8 games year!

A Very good Coach can win 9 Games sometimes!

A Great Coach can win 10 Games A Year & Builds a Great Program!!!

Elite Coaches do both 10+ Games, Conference, National titles, and Recruits in the Top Ten!

Coaches that coach up their recruits and players and win 9 to 10 games will recruit better too, sooner or later, and stays building his Program to do just that to be a Top 25 Team & Program every year, Top 15 in other years, and Top 10 in some years!

Pitt has a Head Coach that is showing he knows how to coach, select coaches to coach, and coach up his players but also creates good game plans, and the rest comes as support comes and builds on it so it remains for years and not just a passing era?

The Michigan fans understand exactly what the OP is stating. Our team has been night and day as well. Our 2 losses are by a combined 11 points, with MSU being a fluke.

Last years team would of been curb stomped by MSU.

This in a year, but Michigan had good recruits. Wait until PN starts getting some 4 stars lining up more often for Pitt.

Barely lost to Utah in the first game and Utah just got twisted by USC?

I once told you that, Hoke was a Joke and not for Michigan?

Pitt fans are waiting but it looks like he will coach up what he has, until then, Go Big Blue!

Any thoughts on Franklin's Second Year at Penn State and the insights on the upcoming Michigan-Lions game at Beaver?

Narduzzi would not approve of a Michigan fan on a Pitt message board. Narduzzi is a stud coach. He is going to do amazing things at Pitt, he was born and bred to be your coach.

Michigan State misses his accountability that he instilled. He made kids do things they never thought they could.

Really happy for you guys, Narduzzi is a special coach, would love for you guys to win the ACC and upset the whole apple kart.
