Not Pitt material, as I recall.
he could have play for this season's merry band of losers, but that's a reflection on us a lot more than it is on himHe pretty much isn't. I mean he could have play for this season's merry band of losers, but that's a reflection on us a lot more than it is on him.
He's 7-20 from the field tonight. In the PL tournament he was 3-9, 4-13 and 6-13 (a combined 3-11 from three). In the seven games before that he was a combined 19-73 from the field and 9-37 from three. If he doesn't start making some shots here tonight you have to go back 11 games to find one that he shot 50% or better from the field in, and that was an 8-16 night. And then to find the next time he did it you have to go all the way back the the game before the game that they played us, on December 6th, when he had an 8-9 game against Columbia.
Up to the minute he's making 40.3% of his twos and 36.1% of his threes. As a guy who takes almost 10 shots a game. If we had a guy who shot the ball like that we'd call him Femi Odukale. And no one has ever confused him with a good shooter.
Giving Wisky all they can handle at the moment.
Every Big Ten team is overseeded by, like, 3-4 spots.Wisconsin isn't very good. Probably closer to a 10 seed.
B10 was 7-3 in the 1st round, which sounds impressive, but many of their teams just got by in close games. Only Purdue and OSU advanced with no trouble.Every Big Ten team is overseeded by, like, 3-4 spots.
Yeah, VaTech eventually became “fried” after playing a ridiculous amount of intense ball in a short one week span. Similar to the local good guys who met the same fried fate after 4 months of grueling intense action.B10 was 7-3 in the 1st round, which sounds impressive, but many of their teams just got by in close games. The conference that was impressive was B12, 6-0 with 5 of those wins being cruisefests.
ACC had a good 1st round at 5-1, ND particularly helping that with 2 wins.
VaTech played Texas pretty even and should have been up at the half save a couple late 3’s by Texas including Marcus Carr’s more than half court heave at the end.Yeah, VaTech eventually became “fried” after playing a ridiculous amount of intense ball in a short one week span.
