Computer ranking very early season volatility illustrated--

Former #6 (human poll) Florida dropped from Sagarin #22 to Sagarin #123 after losing by 12 to FSU.

FSU was Sagarin #13 initially and dropped to ~ #65 after losing to Pitt. Then moved up to #49 after beating Florida.

Pitt moved up to #61 after beating FSU. Then dropped to #112 after losing to Nichols and is now back up a tad to #110 without playing another game.

Nichols was something like #294 before beating Pitt then moved up to #175. Now is at # 129 and ranked #1 in their conference without playing another game.

Bottom line--don't take these early rankings/ratings too seriously yet--need to wait for volatility to calm down after several more games are played by everyone.
