He'll be royalty in Phoenix for the rest of his life and still get his gold jacket. Not a bad deal.Yeah it’s tough to be so loyal I guess
Have some family there (no relation to the Grahams) and they talk about him as if , already. He'll be royalty in Phoenix for the rest of his life and still get his gold jacket. Not a bad deal.
I honestly told people before that game I thought the Steelers would win, but Larry would win mvp because he’d be so impressive. Would’ve been the ideal scenario for me, and I really thought there was a great chance it could happen. It was pretty damn close to happening. He did all he could to win it too.
I don't think Marino and Noll would have meshed well. True, Bradshaw and Noll clashed repeatedly and they won 4 championships. But the times were a little different then. The rest of the team wouldn't have been the Super Steelers of the 70s either. David Little was no Jack Lambert, Weegie Thompson was no John Stallworth etc.I was thinking about Marino the other day. Had the Steelers drafted him who knows where BR would have ended up and how that would have changed the history of the Steelers over the last 30 or so years.
