If he was end of season James when Pitt played PSU, Pitt might have run for 500 yds. PSU did have a great season. Most everybody on this board would acknowledge that despite our dislike of PSU football.

No. This is the third incarnation of Yankee Stadium. The original and the "Steinbrenner rebuild" occupied land next door to the current facility. That said, college football has a long history in the Houses of Babe Ruth. Army and Notre Dame played many games in the original, for example. I believe Pitt's last game in New York City was at Shea Stadium vs Syracuse in the mid-60s. Pitt hasn't played Army at West Point since the early 80s. I'm told Michie Stadium is a spectacular venue for football.

I love when there is a big play. Everyone stands up, but then there is a rush to sit down even before the play ends so that you can claim your butt space. Kind of like their version of the wave.
