I'd be pi$$ed regardless but that takes it to an entirely different level. REEKS of the old boy network which I DESPISE. And yea - if Barnes moves to the front of the line with this search firm (quid pro quo), which isn't a ridiculous notion, then it's crazy.

Agreed completely. If the search even felt like it was comprehensive and fair and they ended up with Stallings then it'd be a bit better feeling. But as it is, this looks like the search was narrow, shallow and fixed. And Pitt looks like a bunch of buffoons not because of who they picked entirely but how they arrived at him as their coach.
