But in view of all the criticism James has taken all year , I' ll just say hats off to him because he won that game by himself and in so doing saved Pitt some major embarrassment. Hats off to James! Saturday's another day.

He is not the most talented the guy, but at least he gives his all. People need to realize this.
I'll give Chris Jones at least a share of the credit.
He has plenty of flaws, but I trust the ball in his hands late in a close game.
Very nearly had a triple double today.
Yup. I;ve been critical of James this year as well but the kid showed he has a ton of guts and passion. That was an incredible performance in the second half and basically willed this team to a win.
Hopefully this gets him going again like he was earlier in the year. Problem is JA and MY have to extract their heads out of their behinds for this team to win two more games.

Agree. Personally I just think he needs to focus on driving to the hoop more during the game and not taking jumpers. But late in the game, whatever you gotta do. Hands down James is gonna have the ball in those situations.
I would hope Chris Jones, who you have (rightly at times) been all over as a player, would also get a share of the credit. I thought he and James, if nothing else, played exceptionally hard.
Through all his stinking, I never felt he wasn't trying. His shots just weren't falling. And people said it was 5 on 4 on offense, but we had a SG who wouldn't shoot, no center scoring presence, and Young and Artis flaking out every 20 seconds. And he his tasked with holding all that together and leading that garbage. That is a lot for him to shoulder. He stepped it up big today.
Who would have guessed that Robinson would have a game where he just misses a triple double, and it's because he needed to get one more assist?
That is pretty funny. By the time he got his 10th rebound, you knew he wasn't going to get that last assist because Wake had to foul.
I actually said to the guy I was at the game with right before then that I didn't want to jinx it but we probably needed one more overtime to get him the triple double. I said his only hope was to grab a rebound and head man the ball to someone on a breakaway for a dunk, because that was the only way he could get the assist. Sure enough, he then got the rebound but there was no chance to get the assist.
