Could transfers returning home lead to shift in WPIAL recruiting?

You guys act like Narduzzi is pleading with local guys to come back and be the stars of a 4-7 program. He has his Izzys, Kanceys and Dennis. He's giving local players a chance to come back and earn playing time in front of friends and family. You earn a little goodwill by doing that.

I doubt many guys think they were overrated and Pitt can be used as a fallback school. More likely they think they got lost in the shuffle at a big name school and are grateful to come back and prove they can play with a coaching staff that knows how to utilize their talents.

There is a hierarchy in a locker room. Local guys that come back for a year or two to be role players or serviceable starters aren't at the top of it. But if they are willing to work they can be a nice contributing part of the team.

I don't think this affects recruiting at all, other than maybe to earn Narduzzi a little respect.
