I have no reason to lie about anything ..,
I find it's easier to remember the truth.
Truth, I have a much harder job now than 10 years ago, daughter was sick all week, dad died in January, I just really have no time for too much nonsense on here, and unending arguments. I still find about 10 guys in here to be utter buffoons, and about 15 more that are just dumb, but what can you do. I still like to get into it a little, but I really just can't spend energy on it as much as before.I don't have the energy for any of it, to be honest.

I really don't even watch any sports anymore other than Pitt FB and BB. And I can't even get mad when they lose, I just don't care that much. I just can't see how some people can be raving furious about players, coaches and owners for the panthers, penguins, steelers and pirates all at the same time. I seriously can't get that.
I think it's called maturity. I won't judge others, but there are a bunch of guys here older than us that never seemed to gain that. It's fun to come on here and horse around, but some of these guys take it all way too serious. I used to be there too. But goodness, how would anyone ever want to be stuck there? That's nice of you.
I was in my 20's and single. Life was different.
Now I'm in my 30's married with two kids. I try to be different. That's my thing I guess. I certainly can be self righteous like you said he other day but I try to act in a way on here that I would act in real life. I wouldn't tell me to shut up after they give an opinion at chipotle why would I do that here? I see that you have made an effort as well and I respect that.
I can regress at times but I'm trying to evolve. Next step is not caring that others aren't trying to do the same thing.
I saw the video of his ejection last week. WOW. That's all.One of the biggest clowns is Pat Chambers. I rarely watch them, but what a jackass.
Meh - I could rattle off any number of coaches of good P5 teams who are intense on the sidelines, arguably even worse than Dixon. The whole "sideline spectacle" is a non-issue IMHO. It's not like the guy is kicking chairs across the court.
I don't see where Dixon has antics per SE. It is simply that he always is directing. I watch OSU alot and Matta has antics but he doesn't choreograph every possession.
I don't have an informed opinion either way whether it is good or bad...but I do know that it is not much of an issue when we have better records.

This is just off the top of my head.
Bob Huggin's "plays to his players emotions". What does that even mean? The guy absolutely can go off on his kids to the point of making observers cringe. I have never seen Dixon yell or berate one of his players on the bench. If you think Huggin's is "playing on a players emotions" by screaming at them, have at it. Have you ever seen Thad Matta when he is angry at one of his players? Is this what you want? I'm glad Dixon acts differently!
Add I can't believe we are actually discussing how disheveled he or his hair looks. Who gives a sh*t?

And you're gonna get on me for being critical of a point guard who never really lived up to a lot of people's expectations?? Seriously, criticizing Dixon's hair and antics when our team has so many other pressing issues is ridiculous. You must, you made it a big deal. I found his behavior to be humorous today. Ask former players of Bob Huggins and Jamie Dixon about their former coach and you'd be surprised what the answers would be. Or if you're ever fortunate to attend a Pitt practice report back what you hear and see.
Nfl has had some pretty successful, yet nutty coaches.bobby knight

some pretty good coaches

I've been fortunate enough to attend three Dixon practices over the years, and found his coaching to be completely typical. Lots of repetition and plenty of teaching and instruction. Otherwise, I'm not quite sure what you could be referring to.
I can't say how I know this i truly can't.
But maybe he knew people were watching while you were there?
One of the practices was open to invited media and I was lucky enough to tag along.
But the others were not. They were closed except for small group and I seriously, seriously he changed anything in any way shape or form because of the few of us that were there.
It seems like you are grabbing at straws on this one bob.
