Damn Mike Leach

I don’t know that he’ll be the savior of anything but a little premature to make any declarations in either direction. But he certainly has a heavy lift in that conference.

My point is I don't care how great an offense is in the Big 12 or Pac 12. There is no defense there. If you accomplish it in the Big 10 or ACC ok I will take notice, the SEC then yes your great.

Totally different animal in the SEC though, I think he flames out and is gone one way or another 2-3 years from now.

It's a different animal but he will be able to recruit better players and have more resources at Miss St then he did at WSU.

Leach has players leaving and he doesn't care because he wants his own. At his last 3 stops he lost 4 games in all three after 5 games his first year. He is in a no win situation, but he will get to 8 wins by year three.

Leach's overall isn't that great if you look into it.

He had Texas Tech and Washington St in the NC conversation in November. That's enough. He's never even had the best job in his state, still doesn't. In a couple years, Miss St. will be 10-2. Will they overtake Bama? No but he's going to have them right below them.

I think you are going to be way off on this one.

He’s fine. He typically receives more acclaim/attention than warranted because he’s unorthodox and an outlier (in all regards....football, life, etc). Dana is Leach Lite. (Both are dicks to the average staff member/facilities worker). Neither wins against an above average defense. Leach is better coach than Dana (not breaking news with that comment).

Leach is a fine fit at a place like Starkville, where he can own the town...just like Lubbock and Pullman. Dana in a PERFECT spot for himself in Houston with his billionaire buddy.

i do agree with you. his offensive prowess will not have the same impact it had in defenseless conferences. this the begginning of the end for leach where slowly becomes invisible and fades away.
