One thing we got give Franklin credit for...my god, he's consistent.
Color me unimpressed with the new PSU offensive coordinator, Terrible calls on the goal line. Too many gadget plays and formations that resulted in nothing. Bringing in the backup QB in the middle of a series. Hardly any downfield passing, no threat of a big play.
So far, I think we did better with Bell, hopefully end this little mini slump in offense tonight.

Nits with zero offensive TDs. A total total of six points from their offense today. Allar stinks. So does the offensive coordinator they brought in from a shitty Kansas program.

He’s a lot like Nick Siriani. Except for the fact that Siriani occasionally wins big games.
That fourth down call was hideous. Had the entire other side of the field and then some to send someone on a slant.
Franklin is really one of the most unique coaches in NCAA history. I cant think of another coach like him. His record as a favorite has to be among the best in NCAA history and his record as an underdog has to be one of the worst. Penn State is incredibly predictable. They dont even need to waste everyone's time and energy playing out these games. You know if they are favored they win, if they aren't, they lose. With the CFP at 12 and going to 14 now, he is probably in a pretty good spot. He's recruiting well enough to win 10 and going to the CFP most years just by getting off the bus.
1-10 vs PSU and 1-14 vs Top 5 teams are like Purdue/Northwestern-type numbers. Just incredible how bad he is vs good teams.
This should be worth a firing. But they are content with attendance and selling merchandise.

I will be really annoyed if PSU gets 2 losses, has Illinois as their best win, and gets in over any one loss power conference team. But I'll enjoy today and try not to think about four Big 10 teams in the playoffs scenarios.
They are going to be an 11-1 playoff team. Nobody with that record is getting fired.

There shouldn't be any kids in that locker room. They're probably getting tea bagged right now.
I said they are in at 10-2 before the season but the way everything shook out, 10-2 would now mean a bad loss and perhaps without a Top 25 win. So I dont think they get in. Seems almost impossible for them to lose one of their last 4. Washington and Purdue are horrible. Maryland is average but its at the Pedos. Minnesota at Minnesota is the only hope but PSU's roided up D wont give up 20 points so Minny had to win like 14-13 and I dont see that.
The funny thing is that the fat guy went in motion on four plays, and may not have touched a defender, let alone actually blocked one, on any of the four.
