The offense has been good enough. The team cant defend. WVU is ass but they defend. Held #2 Iowa State to 57 points today. FSU scored 56 vs us in the 2nd Half. WVU is 18th in defensive efficiency and Pitt is 85th. That's why they are going to the NCAAT and we dont. Our guys are offensive players. They dont value defense.

Team is averaging 8.8 made 3s which isn’t much different than last 2 years but in 22-23 we averaged 9.6 made and only 6.6 given up while this year it is 8.8-7.7.

Big shocker, they are 11th in 3pt FG defense. Hmmm....

The rotation was different in non conference play. That’s why they shot and made more threes then. The Diaz brothers, Amsal, and Cummings played more and made timely threes. Having Kante draw more attention down below and rebounding opened up more 3 pt shots. Capel had to be more creative without Dunn. It’s not Dunns fault but Capel has resorted back to rolling the ball out there and expecting his guards to make plays. But it’s too easy for defense to stop that and pack the lane now.
