I was just providing fsgolf with some examples of when people complained that one player was receiving undeserved minutes at the expense of a "better" player (at least according to the experts on this board). The Lamar over JJ discussions were classic, but as it turned out Jamie actually must have known something. For some on here, that is not a possibility I guess.

I'm open to criticism, but guys invent a lot of stuff to blame him for that isn't real, or treat him like he is one of the worst coaches out there. Just waiting for "he is spending too much time practicing FTs and not other things". We have enough real things to discuss, but ranters gonna rant.

Last year people clamored for newkirk... Until he played more.

I like Damon Wilson, but he's not ready for prime time, yet... At least for running the offense consistently.

Gibbs didn't play in the final Home n Home thing with WAZZU because of an ankle injury; but the seniors definitely played in that pay to play mess.

You are correct about Gibbs - failed memory on my part - just looked it up. He missed the last 2 games.

But to your point about playing seniors, there were only 2 on that team - Gibbs and Nasir Robinson - and they were Pitt's 2 best players. Dixon was trying to win every game - he would hardly sit his best players just to give minutes to a couple of freshmen. In the last 2 games, only 1 senior played, Robinson - every other player was back the next year.
