Certainly not advocating Pitt hiring him, but I find it a bit odd that he never seems to be even "mentioned" for other, bigger coaching opportunities. I'm a Pitt grad, but my dad graduated from RMU so I like following them a bit too. I think he's done a very nice job to this point.

Has made very tough decisions when the trash needed taken out (even though it weakened his team drastically), seems to have a great eye for talent (Marcquise Reed of Clemson), and also seems to be a pretty good X's and O's type of guy.

A quote from Marcquise on why he choose Robert Morris after not getting any significant looks from P-5 programs: “They are a winning program,” he said. “They go to the NCAA Tournament a lot. That’s something I wanted to do in my years in college, so it was just a big opportunity to play right away and get some experience. Those guys at Robert Morris just worked hard, never gave up and we just had that will to win,” Reed said. “So that’s what I’m trying to bring here to Clemson.”

Once again, I am not advocating him for Pitt, and think (believe) we can do better, but it certainly wouldn't bother me if he at least got a chance to sell himself. Just curious as to why you think he can't even get a mention here or anywhere else as far as I know.
