There were 13 players honored for senior day today. A quick look at the roster leads me to believe that all 13 of them should be out of eligibility, because the "regular" seniors all played four years in a row, 21, 22, 23 and 24, which *should* make them not eligible for an extra covid year.
Candelario should not have any eligibility left. He played four years at Marist and two years here. I can't imagine why he'd get a seventh season.
Baker is in the same boat. Four years at Washington College, one year at Virginia, now this year at Pitt. He can't have any eligibility left either.
Fernandez spent a year at Florida International, then one at a juco, then two at Pitt. In the "old days" he wouldn't have any eligibility left either. But none of those three guys were honored today. So what does that mean?
