Does Narduzzi still do the beginning of the 4th quarter pep rally with the team?

I really don't know, haven't seen it in awhile. Remember the whole team would be jumping up and down at the end of the 3rd quarter?

Just posted this on another thread. Couldn't agree more...Actually asked Chris Peak to ask him about it... HCPN seems less risky the last 2 years compared to his first 2. No fake punts/etc.

Seems over concerned with what they can't do instead of being creative in what they can do.

Creative doesn't win a season

Not enough fans in the stands to do the Wisconsin jump around so the players did their best to do their version. It got carried away with juvenile antics...Kids being kids...Nards stopped it...I enjoyed it and it could have been something this program owned nationally...but...

Couldn't disagree more....even Saban was creative to enough to throw a completely different QB in a national championship to give him a chance to win. I'd say you are as far from truth as possible. I'd have to hear more from you...explain why you think what you do...

I'm talking to 'wrinkles' and other somewhat cheesy tactics that may win you one more game in a season against a middle of the road team. 'Throwing in a completely different QB' isn't creative when you've seen him practice all season and he was the #1 DT QB in the class. Winning the game just showed the rest of the nation what Saban had known for months. The Bamas go out and dominate because of superior coaching and athletes. When I see 'creative' I see a word people want to use because no one has any clear or good advice to give. If someone walked up to PN and just said 'hey just get creative, buddy' I think he'd stab them.

I'll agree on the stab em'....He doesn't publicly act like a coach that JUST SIGNED an extension...but you can't say that "wrinkles" wouldn't help our current lack of talent...example: against PSU ..the wild cat helped in the 1st half (not to be seen in the 2nd)... Jet sweet to Shocky helped...(should have play auctioned it later)... I just don't agree with how you expect a group of teams with equal or less talent to do the same thing as the more talented teams and win... I just can't understand that thinking

Different teams have different vibes and different leadership. It was a thing for those players and that year's team.

It really is that easy. Did you want something to cling to?

I don't expect them to win against a talented team regardless; that's just the reality of the football program is more my point. Can't out-trick their way out of this situation.

Yeah because that's never happened in the last few years...except PSU, Clemson (National Champion) and #2 ranked Miami. This is where you try to discredit those teams...............

We’re talking like we have a major body of work in which to judge Narduzzi. Yes, season one was a lot of fun as was 2. Last year sucked but we’re only into game 3 of year 4. I’m ready to concede that he’s much more sizzle than steak at this point but I’m also willing to see what the next two seasons bring. You can’t fire a guy in year 4 at a program with Pitt’s recent dismal history especially with some of the weird situations that happened to his second recruiting class.

Consistency is key. Not one stud recruit is interested in Pitt right now and the staff has a shot at only one (barely) 4 star this year. Whoever wins this weekend likely gets him. Obviously beating big teams is fun but those teams are still getting better and Pitt's getting worse. Those big upsets are interesting for ESPN to recap for a week, but then it's forgotten when Pitt goes right back to losing to Cuse.

Based on what? The first two years were identical followed by a year of QB mismanagement. I’m not going to declare Max Browne the second coming of Marino or Van Pelt but the dude was lost for the season before he had a chance.

Certainly this program is trending in the wrong direction now but 24 hrs could make all the difference in the world.

Now you change the subject. I hope you're not a lawyer. You would starve.

I don't know who you think you're fooling troll.
