Excellent interview. Reveals exactly what DOGE is doing and their goals and progress. This should have been done long ago but the powers that be were cowards.
The fact remains that 0.15% of the federal workforce was laid off, mostly from voluntary retirements and leaving on their own. Yet the leftist looneys on this board will say that fact is wrong and DOGE doesn't know what it is doing. They'll say look on TV and read about it in the NYT or the WaPo. Look at all of the people they show being laid off, crying, leaving their jobs that they've had for years. The facts say otherwise. Those people were essentially not needed and a waste of money.

I think it’s fair to not completely trust musk. A guy with that much money can have outsized influence. I also think it’s good to be cautious and evaluate the end result. Musk even said that

Those losing their jobs in the federal workforce, and that's what we're talking about, are 0.15% of the total federal workforce. And most of them were voluntary. But to see the MSM, you'd think the federal workforce was gutted when that's clearly not the case. Not even close.
I don't like seeing anyone losing their jobs. I had a couple of those experiences in my lifetime with companies being bought, restructured. It's unpleasant. It's a fact of life, however. The fact is that the federal workforce needs trimmed a lot more.

Having experience at auditing I have no qualms about that but would prefer a professional firm that has experience in this type of thing like a Deloitte or someone along those lines be involved to some extent.
