Dokish examines four candidates

Interesting bios. I kind of cooled to any thoughts on drew knowing he wants to pray with his team. Not that I have any problems with people with strong faith, but he would he deal with kids that want nothing to do with his brand of religion. Does he only recruit choir boys?

Ditto, our last fraud coach was also "deeply religious". I would take him off of the list for that alone.

I am sure this issue would be discussed in depth in an interview. If this is something Drew insists on he will not be Pitt's next coach.

The only concern is he might not admit to it, but would he stay clear of certain kids because of baggage? Jimmy franks has made comments about meeting moms and custodians of kids and while we know he is full of shite, would drew do stuff like that? I have no clue

Based on what limited info I've read, I like Enfield as the #1 candidate. We need someone who will change our style of play. Sounds like he's that guy. Next choice would be Drew. Pretty solid record. I don't give a crap about his religious beliefs (as long as he doesn't start selling bibles at home games).

Cruzer

P.S. - I do find it curious that several people expressed real concerns with his religious convictions and the team prayer thing.

Cruzer, I am just going off of the dokish article. I have no problem with anyone's religious beliefs. It just appeared based upon the article that he wants to incorporate religion to his team. A Lutheran school that probably lacks religious diversity probably accepts that easily. Would pitt?
