Per Rothstein. No word on which team was affected, but if it is Drexel our first Pitt game cancelation of the season will take place.

My guess would be Drexel. I don't think mid-majors are going to be as good at this. Not as many resources and their players don't have the same level of commitment. Another reason why it was really stupid to have these cupcake games. No need. Teams should have played 20 conference games + 6 or so P6 games.

At this point it should not be hard to find replacement games.

I will actually agree with you on your last point. It’s best to just keep this conference only.

Time to swallow Capel's pride and call Duquesne. Its crazy that you have a school 5 minutes away in a year that's its hard to schedule and refuse to play them.

It’s on PSU’s side. Their beat reporter is saying that a PSU staffer tested positive.

Similar but different situation, in the Zoom call with Lance White yesterday they pointed out that they only have three non-conference games scheduled right now, but that it was possible that they could add another game right up until a couple days before they would end up playing. They have an opening on, I believe, December 17 that they are still at least looking into filling.
