Dropped Passes

I lost track of how many we dropped yesterday and many on key downs that would have moved the chains. Is there a stat posted anywhere ( do not see that in the box score ) and I realize it can be somewhat subjective because it would assume a catch otherwise?

Also, if Wright can catch the ball we should burn his redshirt now!

I think the TE dropped 2, Ffrench 1, Mack 1(plus a fumble), and i think Mathews. Might have missed another one. Pathetic to be losing games bc of widespread drops.

Don’t need to burn it he can play in final 4 games and keep it

One was a bad pass, the rest were on the mark and should have been caught.

I also question Ffrench running out of bounds with 1.5 yards to a much needed first down. A little later with 5 yards to the first he goes head to head and gets hit hard m. We needed that first down.
Duzz needed to challenge the spot on third and goal. We would have been at the foot mark and just had Pickett sneak in.

TE can block and get open but absolutely no hands...

We all said the same on the spot.. the linesman on our end(otherside) not his side looked like he was closer to the goal line but not his call.

I kept a running count. 5 drops. All critical to keeping drives alive. That plus the 3 turnovers pretty much tells the tale. And yes, if Kyi can block and catch the ball I would play him after the GT game. Last 4 games and he keeps his red shirt. What could it hurt

I'm glad you mentioned Ffrench stepping out. He had a blocker shielding the defender at the first down marker and he stepped out with 3 yards to go. Can't remember but I think we ran twice up the gut and gained a yard then punted. I was a little pissed.

Carter dropped a pass right before Ffrench dropped the one that could have been a TD. Hard to score points when you drop passes, fumble and throw picks

let’s hope this was just one bad game. It happens. Pitt is still not talented enough on offense to get by against a good defense like Miami without their best effort
