Good level for him. Just a complete miss. And an immensely costly one.

Capel's 1st Full Class of Drumgoole, Coulibaly, Murphy, and Champagnie is what will ultimately cost him his job. He should have been able to sell excitement to that 1st full class. There was no reason for his abbreviated Johnson, McGowens, Toney class to be better.

These kids choose their schools based on the sport they play and not academics so in most cases realizing your talent just isn’t up to snuff and transferring to a school where you can play and have success is the right thing to do . Good luck to him .

There you go again , GD was a highly rated kid , a 4* rated 117 who just didn’t work out and JC was a kid who has exceeded anyone’s expectations was rated a 3* #248 .

This class will have nothing to do with HC JC future at Pitt , what he does from now on will .

Best of luck and I wish him well at Albany.

He didn't appear to be a distraction or cause any problems during his time on the team.

Would have been interesting to see how things turned out if he just was able to get a few shots to fall.

It has everything to do with it because in Year 4, he will have no one left from his 1st class and his 1st FULL cycle class. This should be a team of quality junior and seniors but Drumgoole, Coulibaly, and Murphy werent ACC starter material.

FWIW, I saw Drumgoole play in HS and I did think he could be a good ACC player so I don't really blame Capel for signing him but you cant whiff on almost an entire class. He did really well with Champagnie but now he's gone.

They’re not on the verge of replacing him and as I’ve said before he will be given every chance to succeed , no matter how often you repeat the same nonsense.

Lets say he goes 5-15 and then 6-14. He would be gone. He basically has 2 years left unless:

a) he signs a great class in November
b) gets somewhere close to the NIT next year. That probably buys him 2 more years.

He could be gone then , but only if you cough up some serious dollars , but Pitts not firing him with so many yrs remaining on his contract so he probably has at least 4 more yrs before he’s in jeopardy .

Keep it up Daddy Miller. But no matter how much you slander Pitt, its coaches and players, your slimy dirty little boy ain't gonna be on the sidelines coaching Pitt. NEVER, But hey, if being a hater makes you happy..... keep on doing

Ok lets say he goes

22: 6-14
23: 6-14
24: 6-14
25: 6-14

You honestly believe that even in this scenario, where he would have 7 straight seasons considerably under .500 in the ACC, that he would just be "in jeopardy."

He has 2 years to show significant improvement.
