Lowe got 2 early fouls. Thank goodness Cummings showed up as his brother is doing TV analysis. They look better without GDG who looks awful again.

I have to ask... why don't kante see some minutes? I didn't see the Mississippi state game so I don't know how he played. I seen he only had 2 pts. He didn't play against vtech either. No rebounds
Cant defend. Cant rebound. Need to get Dunn back ASAP. They are shooting 55% and have rebounded 6 of their 15 misses.

Incredible 20-0 run and Cummings is unconscious shooting tonight.
Well 1 game does not a season make, but I did mention in a thread a little bit ago that come season's end Brandin would be our best 3 point shooter by percentage.

I see his minutes dwindling. Zack, Amsal, and Kante are going to eat up those minutes. I can't wait until Papa can be trusted to give us 15-20 good minutes like he did at OSU.
Yes, he needs to come off bench. Cummings - overreaction likely, but has at least earned more minutes going forward. Gives a little more time for Dunn to get fully healthy.

Monster second half after an underwhelming start. 40 point W is a double cover IIRC. Should be good for the NET.
Light attended game but it was fun to see the back up pep band, back up ushers, and back up players do so well. Was a little worried at half time, but a special night for the Cummings family. And Austin and Leggett are always solid two way players, they just play the right way.
Quite the 2nd half and what a performance by Cummings. What was awesome is that he came right into the game knowing Lowe was going to be sitting for a while and that seemed to really take the pressure off. Hitting his first couple 3s helped too. Hopefully this will be a huge springboard for him.
As for GDG, it’s time to de-emphasize him. He certainly deserves minutes, but too many offensive possessions end up in his hands and that isn’t good for the team.

Or at least clarify his role. If Cummings and AD continue to shoot over 40 from 3, then they really just need GDG’s inside offense, which he is decent with at times.
When our guards are driving, GDG could position himself for 10-15 footers instead of retreating behind the arc
Lowe got to the hoop at least twice tonight and passed it back over 20 feet when there were closer openings for GDG to receive a pass
Keep giving Brandin minutes and getting him comfortable at this level. There 's alot more where that came from.
