Pitt UNC game thread

Great atmosphere, fun game. The UNC fans around us were pretty fine.

Austin is one of the most exciting players we've had here.

I was trying to think of a player at Pitt who had comparable hops. I was thinking about Sonny Lewis back in the day. Dude could jump out of the building and so can Austin.

Austin is starting to remind me of Hakim Warrick. Warrick played 8 years in the NBA. I think Austin starts out in the G-league but he has so much athleticism that if he eventually rounds out his whole game, I wouldn't be shocked if he played in the NBA eventually.

Sonny Lewis didnt play at Pitt. He starred at Point Park. Dude was a monster. Went to sleep one night and never woke up. He was a city legend. Wow!

Sorry but you're partially right and partially wrong. Sonny played his freshman season at Pitt. Scored 11.4 pts per game. Transferred to Point Park.

Sorry but you're partially right and partially wrong. Sonny played his freshman season at Pitt. Scored 11.4 pts per game. Transferred to Point Park.

Lewis was at Pitt for 2 years, before going to Point Park. I still remember his put back slam of a missed free throw. He died tragically a year after his career at Point Park ended.

Yeah, but it wasn't Trimble and Cadeau. They were a combined 1-11 for the game.
