Seems like nobody can finish at the rim through even light contact. They are getting plenty of good shots and not finishing
15-35 shooting 2 pointers and many missed in the paint

Dunn isn’t coming back .I know they are only playing Miami but Pitt looks like they play well without Lowe and Dunn, not out of control, less turnovers
He missed two layups he makes if he was playing more.Is he a good shooter? Some of those shots looked ugly.
Agreed 💯This was a more enjoyable game to watch, and not just because they won, but they played more as a team then as individuals

Not a tournament team but that was enjoyable to watch. Next few are winnable games
Really? It seemed like a bad team playing a less bad team and the accompanying so soNot a tournament team but that was enjoyable to watch. Next few are winnable games
Yes 100%This was a more enjoyable game to watch, and not just because they won, but they played more as a team then as individuals
They did play well but didn’t shoot well inside the paint - could have been a 20 points in winDidn't get to watch it. I picked Pitt by 7 and that's about what it was. I am guessing we didn't play great and I see we kept our 1st Half deficit streak alive. That's now 16 straight P5 games where we have trailed by 6+ in the 1st Half and 15 of the 16 have been by 8 or more.
But we won and that's all that matters. Sometimes winning becomes contagious. Beat Syracuse. Win in South Bend (which we never do), beat GT and then go to Louisville to play for the NCAAT. It's possible that we can be going into that Lou game with something to play for.
Amsel played wellFunny how ball movement is so much better without Lowe. Hmmm
Maybe Gary was right about Amsel
1000% correct. No HeroBall. Was it perfect? Not at all but, The Enemy of Perfect Isn't The Good. This was a more enjoyable game to watch, and not just because they won, but they played more as a team then as individuals

Pitt wasn’t a great defensive team in their first 14 games but their offense carried them. Even against Louisville, their offense kept them in it. Since then, they have struggled to move the ball, shoot well and score. They scored 86 and 83 against Cal and Stanford but in the 8 games since Louisville, have only broken 75 points only once. They are 3-8 when they score 75 points or less this year.
Dunn isn’t coming back .
it’s forcing us to play more guys - which seems to be a good thing
Well, we lost Dunn early in that game, so it was somewhat understandable that we didn't defend well after that. Tonje went off on us in the 2nd half. We had no answer. On air they were saying JC was pointing to the Dunn thumb injury as the turning point in the season. Personally, I think it's an excuse.Being up 15 in the 1st Half vs Wisconsin, I thought, man, this might be a Sweet 16/Elite 8 team. Then we proceeded to give up 68 points in 26 minutes, which is difficult to do against no defense at all. Ever since then, it's been downhill with the small blip of the 2nd Half/OT in Columbus
He did not understand Lowe, Leggett and Dunn are unplayable together. Too much of the same.Well, we lost Dunn early in that game, so it was somewhat understandable that we didn't defend well after that. Tonje went off on us in the 2nd half. We had no answer.
