“College decision” per Mom. So no G League as some had predicted. That’s pretty interesting in itself.
"Get that #15 jersey ready"-Efton's mother. Per my research, Ohio State and LSU both have a #15 on their roster, but Pitt does not. Is this a hint that Pitt may be the choice for Efton? Hopefully so. I am hearing some positive news regarding Efton and Pitt so hopefully April 15th brings us some good news.

As I predicted as well. And it was an easy projection if you understand recruiting cycles & the system...
There’s nothing in a letter of intent to deter him from going G league late in the process but it seems like the interest is one sided at this point on that option. First step is clearing April 15th.
No doubt about clearing 4/15. And nothing that hasn’t occurred yet is unchangeable. But no need for Mom to word things like that if the plan right now is other than college.
Pitt would not be a surprise, if Reid does indeed end up there. The Panthers have long been in the mix, and they tend to pop up in any discussions involving Reid’s recruitment. Ohio State and Virginia are a couple of others that have been mentioned in the past, and the straight-to-the-pros route is seemingly still an option as well, but Reid has been so silent about his recruitment that it’s been tough to get a gauge on what he plans to do.

Is he going to sign his LOI on 4/15? If not, this is a non-event. Let's wait until he signs the LOI and the ink is totally dry.
🤷♂️ But he certainly CAN sign then, because 4/15 is within a live NCAA signing period.

I’d feel a little better than a Jaylen Hood Schifino verbal simply because this is closer to finality. But I still agree on principle. I just said the other day I don’t get too terribly excited until ink hits paper. And it does certainly sound like the G league is less and less likely. I won’t be biting until it’s clear he’s coming here, if he is. With all that out of the way there does seem to be some reason to at least be optimistic. Which is needed around here.
The LOI doesn’t even mean anything anymore - kids ask out of the LOI all the time, and the school always grants the release or else they get dragged online for it. When a kid commits, he’s committed for as long as he wants to be, whether it’s a verbal, he’s signed, or he’s enrolled and on the roster.
If he commits to Pitt, this is an event. He'd be the first 5-star commitment for Capel. Sure, he could commit and not come to Pitt, but he could commit AND sign, and not come. Or he could even come to Pitt and leave at some point, for a variety of reasons. I suppose we could wait until after he has a great career at Pitt to call this an event, but I'll consider an April 15th commitment an event of importance.
With the money bags he gets from LSU or OSU he can spread a little of that change to the current #15 on either teams roster. I hope it is Pitt believe me but we just cant seem to buy or I mean sign a big at this point in time.
This would be the perfect first domino for the recruiting season.
