I’m almost hesitant to post this
But I think Elliott Donald played a very serviceable DT this week against WVU
He was STOUT at the point of attack. I tried to watch him every time he was on the field during my rewatch
He simply doesn’t get pushed around out there and he’s one of only 2 guys (nick James) I can really say that about.
He did an excellent job stacking his blockers on run plays and making sure LB had clean holes to fill. You need 2 guys to move him, and that is a huge plus compared to the rest of the DTackles
Now, he’s not dynamic so the pass rush element will never be there, but I’d like to see more of him in early downs and in the goal line package
Late in the game when WVU had the ball in deep on our end and the goal line DLine was Scott-James-Brewu-Edwards and frankly Brewu got CREAMED off the line for a Donaldson walk in.
Donald should be in that package until Fitz is back
