I didn’t want to add ANOTHER thread, but this needs to be said separately from all the other rumors and nonsense being spewed on a daily basis…

Enough of this handwringing! Everyday a new thread about realignment. What was said yesterday becomes old news tomorrow. It changes minute by minute. All this does is provide a forum for trolls to play and fatalists to spread their negative emotions.

All of us are concerned about the future. But there is nothing that any of us Pitt fans can do but let it play out. In the meantime, the season is almost upon us. Let us enjoy the season and what will be will be…

I get it... It's just frustrating to have multiple threads everyday about the same subject. It wouldn't be so bad if we had them all condense. As you pointed out, there are only a few things that can be done by fans. The rest must play out. I am a positive person and I believe that Pitt will be fine no matter what or how long it takes...

You could always focus on something that isn’t sports

Don’t you get it? If Pitt isn’t guaranteed to remain in the playoff, the sport goes away, this very message board goes away. (So, you’ll get your wish, at least).

The only interest I have in these expansion threads is for somebody to give some kind of assurance that Pitt ends up with a path to the playoff. I don’t care about FSU. I don’t care about Oregon or Washington. I only care about Pitt.

I never cared two sh1ts about being in the ACC (we’ve always belonged in the Big Ten), I have zero emotion for it or any of the schools in it. It was always just a path to the CFP. Likewise I don’t care if the ACC collapses tonight. I don’t care if we are in the Big 12, or in the XY99 conference. Just make sure there’s a playoff bid.

This is why nobody really cares about camp threads or threads about anything else right now.
