ESPN Gamecast has Pitt favored in next 3 games; then predicted to lose to SMU before being predicted to beat UVA.

Then--- it has Pitt going 0-3 the rest of the way vs Clemson, @Louisville and @BC.

That would result in 8-4 (4-4 ACC) if all game by game predictions held. If going, instead, by sum of % chances to win each game (divided by 8 games) Gamecast predicts 5 more wins for 9-3 (5-3 ACC).

Going into the season I would have killed for 8-4. Now after the start of the season it would be disappointing.

All predictions are useless. Games are played on the field. However, predictions make good fodder for discussion.
