fyi- Josh Conklin in his first head coaching job at FCS Wofford guided his team to a 9-4 log and the second round of the FCS playoffs.Also Matt House believe it or not is in his second year as the DC at Kentucky. Hope he comes up with a good game plan for their Bowl game on Tuesday.

How sweet would a UK win over PSU be? Almost as sweet as ND getting bent over by Clemson. This combined with a Pitt W will be a great way to start 2019.
It should be an example of how Pitt has a fan base that is more critical of certain coaches than it should be.

His criticism was well earned
Chryst was largely the same way. He did just enough each year to make the fans believe that next year could better
His defense actually performed better than Narduzzi’s. He landed Maddox, Blewitt, Herndon, and Aston. The biggest negative was his inability to land DB’s locally. Overall, he was meh. But people on here made him sound like the worst coach of all time.
Maybe Pitt could kill two birds with one stone, to satisfy the fans just promote the backup QB to head coach.

Matt House was not a good coach here. Just because he’s having success somewhere else does not mean he was productive here. Harris was a God send to Pitt and flames out at Stanford. These things happen.
No one was more harsh on Conklin than Narduzzi when he made the crack about being limited on defense after Conklin’s departure.
I was a big fan of Bennett. It’s ashame he didn’t have intentions of sticking around here. He could probably have done good things at Pitt.
