You keep putting quality into the OL. You continue to add impact players to the DL.

Offensive playmakers at WR and TE will continue to be an issue. Reeves to Syracuse is dissapointing. I think the QB class was weak this year. Gotta get Doyle next year.

A lot of time left. It take approx. 4 to 5 four star players and the rest 3 star to get a Top 25 class in the composite. That defense above is loaded.

Ford- 4 Star, should be 5 Star
Wade- 4 / 5 Star, should be 4 star
Jeter- 4 Star
Garbutt- 4 Star
Twyman- 4 Star
Sibley- 4 Star

Still doesn't include Chris Clark, who is a 5 star transfer. We are also on the short list of a number of other very good players. Thayer Munford would be a huge add for offensive tackle, he should get a 4 star bump. That class above is good.

-Biggest weakness as I see it moving forward if your class sticks, which we have a great chance to get get each of those players.

-WR depth

-Unless something changed, we are on the Proctor short list. He's been down twice, and was supposed to come down a 3rd time. His visits have been limited, and its rumored he is staying north.

Ya, Munford is out due to transfer rules. Honestly, I think that gives Pitt an advantage in recruiting him. Less game tape for OSU or other schools to see. Sucks for him though.

-My question is, is why did Pitt's offense drop from a Top 40 offense in the country in 2014, to a Top 80 offense in the country in 2015? A 40 place drop. Is it because of the loss of James Conner, or because Jim Chaney is a complete idiot? How does an offense drop that far when the bulk of the line returned, a better QB of Peterman over Voytik, you add an ACC freshmen of the year RB, your WR's come back, and yet your offense completely sucks, like it did last year. We'll see what our offense does this year. I still will put all blame on jackass Chaney until proven otherwise.

-A Little light on LB talent, but the potential to be one of the best Pitt defenses of all time. Every player on there had a stacked offer sheet. Most of the players had over 30 offers Nationally from every power team in the country. Bama still calls Paris Ford every day.

Well, that would be a pretty spectacular class for me. I would like to land Reeves, I like his tape alot. Also, Proctor looks solid, and I think he would get early PT for us.

-None. I see Warren got the 4 Star Bump by ESPN. So basically in this thread, if the original posters class was intact and we landed just these players, we would have 8 four star players in the 2017 class plus Chris Clark, not including anyone else.

-I also guarantee if we put it together on the field this year, this class will skyrocket up the rankings before its all said and done as we will land additional players. Tons of time left.

Why the heck would I just sit back and wait to see what happens in recruiting? Recruiting to me is as much if not more exciting than the actual games. Knowing what image we have out there in the eyes of elite high school athletes means a lot to me. As a HS student of the 90's it sucked pretty bad and was depressing to have Pitt made fun of and laughed at by any players who had a future at the next level. Having Wanstedt and now Narduzzi lighting that fire into recruiting at Pitt feels awesome.
