1-Nice to get a win...finally

2--Why didn't Sibande play more b4 tonight?

3--Horton is in a deep hole; when he's not hitting, his weaknesses are glaring.

4--Why didn't Jeffress play more b4 tonight? Got to get minutes to improve.

5--Losing 8 of 9 was a grim slog.

Agree with 1-3-5 for sure.

For 2 and 4, we lost what..70 minutes or so between X and Toney. There’s not a ton of minutes when X-Toney-Champ all play around 35 mpg.

X was also such a ball dominant guard it’s hard for Nike to create with him out there, much easier with Femi who is more passive.

Jeffress’s play is the most encouraging development from the past two games. Nike can clearly score, and while maybe he comes back/maybe not, with Jeffress there is real talent to work with. Good instincts, great frame for a wing, and he’s physical for such a young kid.

Between Champ-AKC-Jeffress, that’s not an awful frontcourt. Capel has to find an impact scoring guard and someone who can compete with AKC for the starting spot (or maybe Hugley comes back, who knows). But the program isn’t collapsing, that’s a great sign

Femi is a better PG than X. Nike might be a wash at the 2 verses X. The gap between Toney and Jeffress isn't as great as some thought.

Depth definitely took a big hit but the team seems to be playing more like singular unit.

That was my point. Why weren't they getting minutes and building depth? All coaches tend to be conservative and shorten the bench under pressure. Don't need to play any one 35-37 min a game. You do so at your peril and this really slowed Jeffress' development. Sibande could always play and could have been contributing earlier.
