As we enter the Pitt basketball-starved mode, I was thinking that by my calculations, Pitt was eligible for a foreign trip last year. Capel may not have wanted to "waste" that and may have felt it would be better used before next season. Anyone know if they are taking one. With the growth of the video streaming platforms, it would be awesome if the games were even broadcasted somewhere. Seems like most teams just go to Canada or the Bahamas but maybe Capel can entice a couple grad transfers by offering a more appealing trip.....like to Europe. Might be a good selling point for a 1 year rental.

You play against real pro teams in Europe. Not sure why they'd go to Spain to play against semi-pros.
Then maybe it was pros. I didn't feel like looking it up so I will take your word on that.
I might want to save that trip until 2020. Capel will have a solid team that year, and would benefit greatly from taking one of those trips. 2019 might be a year too early.
