I don't think anyone said that charge (that wasn't all Bookser was charged with, though) was any different, but seeing as it is the coach's discretion in both situations, I'd say Bookser deserved much more punishment than he got, where as Tyler Boyd and Hand probably shouldn't be suspended at all, no matter the opponent. Just as, in the justice system, the prosecution strategies and punishments will be different for each.
Based on how light Bookser's penalty was vs. the crime, I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't suspended, if we were playing FSU first. If we are instead putting minimums on basics and not handling things situationally, HCPN is hamstringing himself in a very, very dumb way.
