Game on the line - Who do u want at PG?

Fields. Knight might’ve been the better all-around player (hot take?), but Levance had that “it” factor when the game was on the line. He was going to get to the basketball, hit the free throw, or nail the jumper. Just my opinion, though.

What’s the biggest shot BK or Krauser made with the game on the line against a big opponent for comparison sakes? Duke and Xavier jump out to me with Fields.

Carl made plenty too. Cuse in the Dome in 2005 comes to mind (ONIONS!!).

BK wouldn't necessarily hit a shot in crunch time, but he'd set someone else up for sure!

My other comment being said, Levance was pretty incredible with his shotmaking in the final minutes. Duke, Xavier, OK State in the NCAA's, OK State in the 2006-2007, and @ UConn in 2009.

I knew you’d come through. Any other games that stand out? James Robinson against VT (4-point play) at The Pete stands out to me, but I didn’t have him on the list.

James was pretty cluch too --hit the Big 3 to go to OT and win against NOVA in 12-13 and was huge in the last minute to send the Oakland game in OT his frosh year two.

I really liked James, but he's just not close to being on the same list as BK, Fields and CK.

Fields. Had the better scoring ability in addition to handling the ball and dishing out assists.

Better scoring ability? Did he?

Most he ever averaged in a season was 11.9 PPG in his shorted junior season, and averaged 10.7 ppg as a senior.

Krauser averaged at least 15.0ppg in each of his last three seasons. Knight averaged 15.6 as a junior and 11.2 as a senior.

Nonetheless, there are no wrong answers here. All three were very, very good players.

Knight had that as well. He was a low percentage jump shooter and foul shooter, until the game was on the line.

I trusted Fields more because he turned the ball over less than BK and Krauser and he shot better from the line. He scored a little less, but took fewer shots each game (2 and 2.1 fewer than BK and Krauser) and made a lot of huge shots for us.

Brandin struggled from the line (54%) and 3 point shooting (32%). Krauser shot a little better than Fields from the line and 3 point range (75% & 37%), but struggled from 2 point range.

I agree all three were really good for us. I trusted Fields a little more at the offensive end at the end of games.

It's funny when you think of it.....during all of their years, did any of these three ever dunk a basketball during a game??
