He does that every game Pitt looks bad. Makes him feel tough to get on the fans who actually expect our team to play hard and compete.
Oh no, it is great. All you need is some HDMI cables, heavyweight foil, some distilled water, ba;; bearings, chewing gum and a can of coffee beans, preferably decaf and you can hook up your beautiful 60" Samsung HDTV to ESPN 3 and watch the game.
This team just doesn't put out effort game after game. Why is it so tough to work hard in back to back games?
No rhythm because JD got too cute and got away from the rotation that worked well.
I could care less what their record is are you watching the same game as me ? They're terrible .. They were terrible when we waxed the floor with them last game and they're even worse now .. No excuse for us to come out playing like this in a huge game

Really. Pitt is the better team but VT is a decent team at home. I think it is the Pitt fans who get all big headed and don't respect opponents.
IMTOD really needs to not drink or use some decaf during games.
And if we want to show the committee and fans that we are a solid tournament team peaking at the right time, losing to a bad VT team is not the path.
Of course I would be disappointed, but they are not a bad team at all.
We're playing solid defense, and that's where it needs to start. We just need to move the ball a little better and hit open shots.
This team lacks real leaders! No one is vocal and we go up and down on the effort chart way too often.
And Mich St beat Rutgers at home by 34 a month ago and they are only up 2 at the RAC.. Who's worse, VT or Rutgers? BB is a crazy game!

So Duke wasn't a big game? Syracuse on the road wasn't a big game? Thanks for proving my hypothesis that the only "big games" Pitt plays is ones that they lose according to a large section of this completely basketball illiterate fanbase.
Well if we lose it's back to the bubble talk. No way we should lose this game but this is the staple of Pitt teams in recent years. Wallop Duke but carry zero momentum into the next game and look awful.
You guys can be such drama queens sometimes. Down one on the road to a middle of the road ACC team is hardly deserving of these histrionics.
This team beat Virginia and only lost to UNC by 5. And they have a good coach.
That can't be right, because obviously if you beat a team by 34 the first time you play them you should also beat them by 34 the second time.
OK, maybe if it were only 32 that would be OK. But no less than that.
I just love the fact if we were up by 20, this would not be a big game. Because we are struggling, it is a big game. I love that logic. Love it.
This is a .500 team in the ACC. They play better at home. Pitt was bound to be a little flat after a big win. Many teams do that not just Pitt btw. It is a 1 point deficit. You act like they are being doubled up.
Take a deep breath once in awhile.
i think they are giving a decent effort, hard to expect them to repeat the duke performance. The defense has been ok, but we are giving to many fouls. We only look bad because we are way off shooting tonight. We have missed badly on alot of open shots. When the ball doesn't go through the hoop, it is easy to say the effort isn't there, but I don't think that is the case.
