I'm going to talk about this on today's podcast, but I wanted to get a sample of thoughts from fans:
In the last 10 years, what games did you go into thinking Pitt had no chance of winning?
The only one I would say was an absolute lock no-chance game was WVU in 2007; we all know what happened there. Beyond that, I don't think there was another lock no-chance game. Maybe Notre Dame 2012? Road game against a top-5 team when Pitt was 4-4 and not looking too great (despite coming in with a two-game winning streak over Buffalo and Temple).
I think there were a few that were viewed as highly unlikely. Iowa and Notre Dame last year and Florida State in 2013 come to mind.
Any others? I feel like, in most games, even if Pitt wasn't the favorite or if you would have predicted a Pitt loss with a gun to your head, there wasn't the feeling of a definite no-chance game like it was for WVU in 2007 or this week's game at Clemson.
