gold on white for cuse game

Can you link the tweet?

Gold on white, eh? Hopefully they look good on the field. Gonna be a foul looking jersey...

Pitt will have gold jersey over white pants for cuse game. Per pitt twitter
Disgusting look. Maybe the Cuse will wear some of the crap they've used lately, so we won't be too embarrassed.

Great look! I always hate white, whether it's jerseys or pants, give me color, I love the gold jerseys!

Well, keeping in line with colors talk, I still say a slight tweak of the blue and more substantial tweak of the gold (far too light) and these jerseys next season will look great.

Yeah... Just saw the pic of these... Very UCF.

Meh, though I think this is one combo where the [blue] pant stripe actually helps.
But, as someone who as said they should go the Oregon route, I can't really complain. As long as it's not gold-gold from 2006.

Whichever pants fit the best is what they should wear. I know that sounds like I'm being sarcastic but unfortunately I am being dead serious after reading that Narduzzi article where the players all complained about how ill-fitting the pants have been.

I'll be fine with whatever they do as long as we don't resort to the bush league high school nonsense with disco ball helmets and Broadway level costuming.

Here is Maryland's "uniform" for this weekend.

I would like to see the current unis, but add two alternate unis. The Pitt script with the old colors. And an all black panther uni. I realize we aren't Oregon, but I think it would be nice.

Tweak the shades or blue and gold. Keep the white around. Add alternate blue and white helmets. Replace/remove the block PITT on the jersey front. Maybe add a stripe or two to the sleeve. That's what I expect Nike to do.

I like the gold jerseys, if we don't play well however I'll hate them and hope they stash them away. I like the fact of having an alternate third top though and gold is our obvious choice.

While part of me feels the need to remind you again that you chose a profile picture of a Pitt player wearing a white Jersey, the other part of me feels the need to agree with you about not being a fan of the white pants.

White jersey's - like the one in you profile picture - may be necessary for certain away games and work nicely with the blue pants (much better than the combination they have chosen for this week's game with Syracuse).

Still, if Pitt keeps winning games, the white pants will likely bother me a whole lot less.

When I read the title of this thread i thought..."not bad....going back to a traditional look of gold pants white shirt"....

then I come to find out it is just the opposite of the traditional look and proceeded to throw up in my mouth.

All black, hmm... maybe. I think some combination of black and blue (or maybe even a gray an blue) could look nice. Maybe darker coloring like Batman's suit... to match the Pat Signal concept. Something that would be worn in maybe two games a year. Night games.

I liked the all black basketball unis, so who knows? Maybe they will eventually try it in football.

True, I just like the picture. And I always liked the jerseys that had "PITT" really HUGE on the front-a very traditional collegiate look IMO. The jerseys in the picture had the gold USC-like trim on the shoulders, which I liked.

And truth is what they wear never has anything to do with who wins. I never buy into that superstitious nonsense.

Funny you have the HUGHgreen name. That's what I was thinking with the all black unis. I have the Sports Illustrated of him with the black panther on the cover. So I though black unis for a black panther. That's my all time favorite SI cover.

I agree.

Probably not so surprisingly, it's my favorite too.
