OK.....if you have not noticed, KGorman of the Trib is putting effort and energy into the high schools sports section of the Trib. I don't agree with him all the time, but at least he is giving the reader a chance to look past the obvious (as opposed to the PG) and into core issues that have an impact.
In the end, these kids have lives and that's what I like most about his reporting and columns....he gets that the kids and not the adults are at the center of the high school age sports world.
I get put off by adults (i.e. the adults in the WPIAL governance) who pretend to be in favor of kids when too often they are about protecting their own interests.
Gorman is worth following.
