Never give up attitude was nice to see. I thought this would be a hard game but we fought back and if not for a bad touchdown call and 2 missed fg we would have pulled one out.

Regardless ... impressive performance in the second half

2 bad td calls the second td receiver clearly stepped on the o b white in the end zone, but it still was a good season. Let's go win a bowl game

But we had some bad penalties and certainly Peterman wasn't at all crisp. If we won this game it woulda been an ugly win.

Great fight at the end so Pitt showed up but was a bit short!
Fyi to all the "bad" penalty call whiners. We lost because we missed tackles, field goals, bad QB performance, and poor coverage by the Pitt secondary.
On the other hand we played the worst game of the year but made it close!
Still could have won it with 4 mins to go.

What concerns me is LB recruiting. In my opinion this is our weakest link, small slow LB's. It was evident today since they couldn't keep up with the Miami backs coming out of the backfield to receive passes. We don't have many ( I think one) LB's in the next recruiting class.
LB is a tough position and take a while to develop? So we'll see!

I didn't see anyone on here complaining about bad penalty calls today.

But obviously we are recruiting better, we have over a 3 star average so far and most of what's out there are also 4 star talent we are recruiting.

I think overall recruiting is moving along and the program has exceeded my expectations. With Conner out early I was hoping to duplicate last year 6-6.
I just looked at the recruiting list and was concerned with just one LB Pine but if Pugh is an LB prospect that's good he's titled ATH. A few more LB's would be good!

I think defense will be incredible in years to come. I'm hoping we can land more playmaker on offense
