I am happy to see such a game and watch the Panther Offense respond to scoring against Tech. The Offense has been consistent, mixing Ball Control with Big Plays! Chaney is doing his job and so is Peterman and Pitt Players.
The Defense is giving up much but they are not quitting and it is going to be a shoot out. This os exactly what this Defense needed to be tested, respond and become better for the next 6 games? Now we shall see if they can continue and make Adjustments?
Special Teams continue to do the job and not give up the games unlike under Chryst and Harris? They have a Coach that knows Special Teams and coaches them. Dumbo Chryst used to mock and lose from his ignorance and arrogance of Chryst's own making letting his Offense and Defense Players down. The difference this year in 2015 is Narduzzi's Day & unlike 2014 that was Chryst's Night! Special Teams may decide this game, just a Hunch?
Coach Narduzzi is taking on one of the Premier Head Coaches that knows the game if Coach Johnson. He beat Wannstedt at Navy and wiped up Chryst. Yet, Coach Pat & Staff are coaching right with him. The Coaches are calling a great Game Plan, Play Calling, and the Players are not quitting even after big plays happen to them. Now comes the Half-Time Adjustments and we shall see if Coach Pat & Staff and the Players can adjust and beat this great GT Coach and Team?
As stated from New Years......Every Game is a Test for Coach Pat & Staff and the Players! This is what is needed to test there abilities in a big and close game that counts to win the Division. This will also prepare them for the tougher upcoming schedule against Cuse Away, UNC, ND, Duke, ULou, and Miami!
Finally, is it not refreshing to see a Pitt coach again on the Sidelines wearing a smart looking Pitt Shirt???? Unlike Chryst that wore a Old Gray Sweatshirt that looked like a Grounds Keeper, Janitor, or Homeless Hand Me Down from the Salvation Army?
Pit may lose this close game because it can go either way. Both teams are very even. Still, it is great again to see Pitt being Pitt again, like in 1970s-80s and with the Script, Great Coaches and Players that execute and don't quit?
Especially without pompous people that took Pitt Money like Pederson, Chryst & Graham and never wanted to be at Pitt except for the opportunity to go somewhere else and all quit on Pitt?
