The Women’s team guess of getting 4-6 ACC wins vs the predicted 2 and finishing a few spots higher than the predicted 14th out of 15 ACC teams seems about right to me. As I posted elsewhere, I believe the 3 added bigs should improve the rebounding enough to believe 4-6 ACC wins is possible, maybe even likely.

The discussion of the men’s team seems bizarre and uninformed. No mention of Champagnie. Lots of love from one speaker for Chukwuka who might not even become healthy enough to play a minute this season and there is no mention of Hamilton as contributing.

After hearing those discussions I mostly tuned out the prognostications as to record and projected ACC finish. FWIW, these folks thought an NIT bid was within range.

That was my takeaway regarding the men, too. Was the one host confusing Champagnie for Chukwuka? Kene, whenever he is healthy, is probably going to be the #4 forward behind Brown, Hamilton, and Coulibaly - who was barely mentioned. But no mention of Champagnie, who was arguably the team's best newcomer in Italy, was bizarre. Murphy was referred to as a grad transfer, too.

Kene will not play until maybe January because of hip surgery and they really like Justin at 6'6 or 6'7 with that New York mentally and very athletic.
