He gave that UNC receiver an extra 3-4 yards after the catch by trying to wrap him up high. Weaver had to come all the way from DE to tackle the guy or he’d still be dragging Hambone downfield.
He has a long way to go before he’s a player.

Sure-so much so he’s been benched for the second half. Garner is in-and has made a couple of plays.
He hasn’t had a snap yet in the second half after playing-and struggling-pretty much the entire first half.
If you watched him play the first half, and you think he played well, you don’t know what you’re watching.
Same with Motley. He’s been beat like a drum and has lucked out of a PI call and got lucky again when his man dropped a perfectly tnrown ball on the deep corner route.
Is he 100 percent healthy? Seems to be playing with some reservation, missing tackles and pass coverage is a bit loose
Hamlin spent the entire second half sitting on the bench with a Gatorade towel over his head. Quite a few players talked to him, and it looked like they may have been trying to console him.
He had a horrible first half. MAs all over the place. Missed a lot of tackles. Played soft.
Maybe he was hurting, but it looked more like he just got benched for not doing his job to me.
