I can't believe that educated, intelligent adults approve of Trump's fascist, dictatorial nonsense because one of the premier Universities in the world won't bend to his capricious will. This is even lower than Banana Republic level. "You won't kiss my ass, so I'm going to unlawfully remove previously appropriated Congressional funding....which I don't have the Constitutional authority to do..." And you goofs cheer?
I generally find the Babylon Bee funny but what's with the anti Jew stuff? Are they jumping the shark?
Harvard and the left in general are easy targets for antisemitic jokes since they hate and discriminate against jews so much.
Universities must be centers of learning, not hotbeds of antisemitic hate.
And why should our tax dollars be funneled into that anti-American indoctrination camp.? Their endowment is 53 billion dollars. They’ll be fine, and if they aren’t, maybe HAMAS will bail them out.

They let Pro-Palestinian demonstrations happen on campus and some Jewish students were harassed....the bigger issue is them not kissing Trump ass and doing his bidding.

NPR is next. And frankly they made their bed too. Like Harvard, they don’t even hide who they are and what they do. Our tax dollars shouldn’t support their indoctrination network. If they want to indoctrinate and serve as the arm of the DNC, that’s fine. But they can do it without the help of the American taxpayers.
By the way I’m not sure I totally agree with the crack down on universities over anti semitism. The issue isn’t discrimination of Jews which of course is wrong as is any form of discrimination. The issue becomes one of free speach. In the broadest example protesting Israel’s genocide in Gaza should not be considered anti semitism. But if a Jew says they feel threatened by that then it’s being considered to be antiemetic when it’s really free speech In general some of these antisemetic laws are overly broad the one example is saying the Jews killed Christ is considered antiemetic. So fundamentally why should Jews have broader protection than any other religion

All kidding aside, it’s complex. Free speech, aside, Jews have been threatened, harassed and prevented from getting to class and Harvard didn’t seem to care. The examples are too many to cite. And all because they are Jewish and have nothing to do with political conflict. Protest all you want. Heck, that’s what Soros pays them to do. But when it turns into harassment, then Havard needs to act. And they didn’t. Why? Because the antisemitism runs deeper throughout the faculty and administration.
Agree 100 pct. As you know I’m not a huge fan of muh greatest ally but this college thing is really kinda interesting. Before Oct 17 schools like Harvard were some of the most vocal against anti semitism But it seems that’s all changed. Muzzies seem to be more important now.
I will tell you why. The oldest discrimination is antisemitism and it’s been going on for thousands of years. If Israel gets attacked don’t they have a right to defend themselves. As far as genocide is concerned Hamas uses the Gazans as human shields so therefore thousands die. If these students are so concern about Gaza then they need to go to Gaza and help those people. That won’t happen because most of them would be killed by Hamas. Is Israel’s government always right no, but when you have a terrorists threatening your country your going to do whatever you can to protect your country. Keep in mind these students have no idea about the history of the Middle East. None. They listen to their Marxist teachers and made up bullshit. These same students threaten Jewish students on campus. One other point why do these students support terrorists? I’m sure if they were alive during 9-11 they might be singing a different tune. But you support Hamas and it’s ilk then go live with them.

Here’s where I have a problem with Netanyahu he had the military go full defense in the West Bank and knowingly letting down the defense of the border along Gaza. Did he do this on purpose to entice this war for his political gain and stop a 2 state solution? A lot of Israelis think that. If you ask the Israelis people and the Palestinian people what they want they will tell you peace. The government or the so called leaders don’t want that as we have seen in so many times in the history of the world.
This is a false narrative. The left LOVES the Jewish people and most Jewish folks vote Dem. The problem is the left, being more diverse, also is the political party for Arab Americans. So you have competing interests at times which makes it hard for Dems to thread the needle.
The issue with Harvard is that they are a private university and do not have to be told what to do by the federal government. They can withhold funding but that funding is mostly for medical/scientific studies. And this is mostly about DEI. Harvard isn't getting rid of DEI. If that means Trump pulls their cancer research, so be it.
