During a season a team plays 5 great games and plays 5 terrible games... the other 20 are truly who they are. I think we have seen that from our Panthers. Some great games at ND, Syracuse, Duke, first VT game and some terrible games with NCST, VT number 2, etc.....

The team is right about where I thought they would be. I figured 21-10 and 9-9 or 10-8 in the league.

I thought Syracuse, Louisville, NC ST and Duke were beatable (Inexperience or lack of depth).

I thought Clemson, FSU and Geo.Tech would be tough (new additions, depth or experience) FSU would have been better but lost their starting center for the year.

UNC, Vir, Miami and ND had a lot coming back.

BC the only bad team, Wake maybe bad coach, Vir.Tech good coach, will soon be a good team

Probably a fairly accurate statement.

I've been observing that not only with Pitt but with a good number of other teams in the ACC. A lot of it has to do with a team just going through good stretches and bad.

Look at ND. There was a point in the season where they looked like one of the top teams in the conference, impressive wins in a row against UNC, @Clemson and Louisville. And now they've followed that up with unimpressive to bad performances the last 4 including losses to GTECH, FSU and Miami, the last 2 not being close.

Similar examples from a good number of other ACC teams. Miami beat us but sure didn't look like world beaters doing it. They've been on a heck of an impressive run recently though.
