Two observations:the defense particularly the DB play at has been much better and second, Voytek looks lost. Also in closing, Chris James isn't the answer-runs tentatively with poor vision

The linebackers are attacking as well. Rather than catching the backs 4-5 yards deep they are making contact moving forward reading and attacking the play.
Yeah, Lafayette Pitts improved his ball skills from the point where they were the equivalent of a mediocre middle school defensive back all the way up to where they'd probably be decent for a middle school defensive back.
It appears there is no fixing his problems.
Not surprised Voytik regressed.
Hated the Chaney hire. He's a career fat guy coach (OL and TE). Didn't start coaching QBs until 2012.
It's a shame because I think Voytik is the most talented QB PITT has had in decades. I think he would be better than Palko if he had better coaching.

Maybe the kid just had an off day. The OC did manage to call an offense that put up 45 pts. In reality that's not bad. If the OC is such a bad coach who would you put in as the OC?
